Annelie Perings
Annelie, another hard-working and brilliant student went beyond all odds and created even 2 websites throughout our teaching program, of which the first is her employers company website and the second will function as a template for future employee websites. With the support of our entrepreneurial empowerment program, Annelie designed, developed, and ultimately relaunched an entirely new & fresh look to her company’s team and board of directors at an annual event.

Convinced of our training program, her adventure started in January 2021, when we taught her to conceptualize her website requirements and encouraged her to step into the role of the client & the supplier. In order to be creating all materials such as logos, icons and images, she acquired skills such as photo-editing in Photoshop or icon and logo design in Illustrator.

Ever since, she has been working on several digital & innovative solutions to support her company’s growth journey, while keeping an eye on the marketing budgets. Her designed hassle-free employee website template can be adapted to all other employee websites, while saving precious time and maintaining CI compliance.

She is yet another strong force to be reckoned with. Her immense curiosity to learn, turns her accumulated experience in WordPress, HTML and CSS code into a magical tool that will take to the top. We are proud to have sparked her interest in web development and will curiously follow her professional growth path.

Acquired skill-set

Annelie acquired profound knowledge to cover all technical requirements for a successful WordPress installation and gained an overall understanding of the digital world wide web with topics such as static HTML vs. dynamic CMS websites, domain & hosting, database & FTP account creation, mail/web server settings, and troubleshooting error messages. From there she skyrocketed her graphic design skills with the programs Photoshop and Illustrator and can now create website icons and other necessary materials in the blink of an eye. She knows which image resolutions are necessary for web or print, learned how to create, prepare, or correct files for the printer, to alter business cards, adapt images size and basically create any necessary marketing material for her company.

Future benefits

Annelie was already working on her 2.1 version of the company website and has taken full control over all changes and updates. She has saved her company design & development costs and has already added many new features to her current website, all by her herself. Annelie has the power and ability to create plenty more WordPress websites, upgrade her current website with more functionalities and has gained invaluable technical experience, which equips her to analyze technical requirements for different types of digital solutions. She also acquired skills in branding and SEO, which will help her create even more stunning and successful content and websites in the future. Whether it’s a future CRM, or an Email Marketing solution, we trust that she will manage it autonomously.
After just a year Annelie launched a second website for https://www.robinredler.com/, one of many more employee websites to come soon.
Selling web & graphic design services to clients is a great source of inspiration but teaching clients the science of these services and empowering them to take on these challenges themselves, is an even greater inspiration and creates bonds that go beyond a project’s life cycle.
